Age Concern

Operation Hamper 2016

We are taking part in the Operation Hamper scheme again this year to provide food for the elderly on the island.  We have a collection box outside the main office for you to donate any dried food items or tinned goods.  Any help is very much appreciated.

Cross Country

Wednesday afternoon saw nearly 90 of our year 5 and 6 children take part in the Primary Schools Cross Country competition.  Every child gave maximum effort and finished the difficult course.  There were some great individual performances as well as runners counting in the team results.  A special well done to our year 6 boys team who finished in third place overall.  Keep on running !!

 

Christmas Services at St. Marks Church

Our children will be performing their Christmas services on the following dates:-

KS1 Thursday 8th December at 1.30pm (Children can be taken home following the service if parents are attending)

KS2 Tuesday 6th December at 6.30pm (Children to be at the church for no later than 6.15pm).

 

Children In Need 2016 Friday 18th November

It is national ‘Children in Need’ day on Friday 18th November. We are hoping to support Pudsey Bear by having a dress down day and encouraging children to wear something spotty as the theme is ‘The Big Spotacular’.  Donations will be collected on the day and sent to this very worthy cause.

 

Reception Classes Parents’ Evening

The Reception Classes parents’ evening will take place on the 22nd & 24th November this will be available to be booked via the parentmail app on Saturday 5th November.  If you have not signed up as yet you will need to come into the School Office to book.
