Traffic

The traffic volume at the school entrance creates a busy and potentially hazardous area, with parents worried about their children arriving at school on time.

We are trying to alleviate some of this bottleneck by offering parents a safe ‘drop off’ area just outside the school grounds.

If you travel to school up La Pouquelaye, children can leave the vehicle on the left-hand side onto the pavement. A group of Year 5 children in Hi-Viz jackets will be on hand to monitor the children on the pavement until our lollipop man can safely help them cross the road.

Once your child has exited your vehicle please do not hold up the traffic further by encouraging them to cross the road in front of you, we ask you continue your journey and leave the children to cross with our lollipop man in a safe and controlled way.
