Making it REAL

Raising Early Achievement in Literacy

Information for parents

Please see the attached leaflet which invites you to attend free and informal sessions to find out more about how young children develop language and literacy.

It is perfect for any parents with young children or have an interest in working with young children in the future.

Sessions will be held on Mondays 5th, 12th, 19th and 26th March from 9.30am to 1.30pm at the Jersey Library.


Our Year 3 classes had an amazing time at Ronez Quarry this week.

They donned their hi-viz jackets and explored the quarry.

The Ronez operations supply the Island with all types of rock and concrete products and the children learned how these commodities are used across the Island.

Swimarathon 2018

We are busy preparing for our Swimarathon dip in March and have children lined up ready to take the plunge.

All parents are welcome to come along and support the swimmers – also any parents who are able to help on the day – whether you are willing to get wet and swim along or would prefer to help out on dry land please contact Mr du Feu.

Our art classes love old news!!

If you have any old newspapers you no longer need please drop them in to us.

We have lots of uses for them and our pile is getting very low.

Internet Safety Day

This week was Internet Safety Day and classes looked at different ways of staying safe on-line. The following link provides some guidance and help for parents to use over half term when discussing on-line safety with children. 


On-Site Parking

Can we please remind parents to utilize all the available parking spaces at school collection time.

When using the double spaces at the entrance to the school please use both the front and back spaces to try and alleviate congestion.

Our Family Bingo Night proved to be very popular and was a great success!!

We raised an amazing £400 for our PTA.

Thank you to everyone that came along and joined in the fun we really appreciate your support.
