The children are developing their creative and imaginative play areas – and any donations to help create their inspiring spaces would be really appreciated.
If you have any old pots, pans, baking trays, wooden spoons or ladles lying around, Reception K would love to make use of them in their mud kitchen – also if you have any items that could be used for junk modelling please drop them in too
Year 2 continue to enjoy all things wedding related and would like to extend this into their role play area – if you have any unwanted resources like cards, confetti, photos of weddings, invitations, artificial flowers, outfits and dressing up we could utilise, we would really love to have them.
Nursery are getting hands on – and would love to make use of any Hammers, tape measures, screwdrivers, spirit levels and wrenches you may not need anymore – we would also appreciate any donations of Bicycle helmets for children, ribbons, buttons and wool that we can use for threading and weaving.
Key Stage 1 are developing their outside area and are working on two new fabulous projects – An exciting Water Wall and a Bug Hotel!
For our Water Wall we would like any pipes, guttering, buckets, funnels, tubes, measuring jugs or watering cans you can spare – and our Bug Hotel can be created with air hole bricks, pallet boards, terracotta flower pots, logs, bamboo, hay/straw and roof tiles
Thank you in advance for any donations you can help with.
Walk to School Week 2017 was a great achievement for our pupils, many of them accepted the challenge to walk, cycle or scoot to school.
Thank you to all the parents and carers for encouraging the children to get involved.
Well done everyone!!
